How CICOAGRI Transformed the Nkwadi Base

Under the Agricultural Transformation Agenda (ATA-DRC), the Nkwadi site in Kasai-Oriental posed an immense logistical and agronomic challenge. CICOAGRI drew on its multidisciplinary expertise to turn it into a Congolese success story.

Clearing & development of thousands of hectares: Mechanised soil preparation, sowing of high-yield maize and soybeans, and careful management of inputs.
Construction of a 120 t/day Industrial Flour Mill: On-site processing to supply Mbuji-Mayi, Mwene-Ditu and Kananga without shortages.
Water supply and storage sheds: Dedicated solar water boreholes and 10,000-tonne metal sheds to secure the harvests.
